How Much Will It Cost? There is no charge for our initial diagnosis.
How Long Will It Take? Plan on 2 to 4 hours for us to properly diagnose the problem. We will be happy to take you home or work if you need a ride.
What Will You Do? First & foremost we verify your concern. We then check the level and condition of the fluid. You'd be surprised how many alleged transmission problems are really due to low fluid level, a restricted transmission filter or computer system malfunction. We then road test the vehicle using our computer scanner to see if any system malfunctions have been noticed by the vehicle's computer and stored in memory. If indicated, we check the transmission's oil pressure. We also perform all external checks and adjustments including a leak inspection.
What's Next? At this point, our diagnosis will reveal whether your problem is inside the transmission or outside. We will make a recommendation and give you an expected time frame to complete the repairs so you can make plans. We never perform work without your authorization.
What's The Warranty? If the work is of a minor nature we guarantee the parts and labor listed on your invoice for 12 months or 12,000 miles. If the work is major, we guarantee your transmission against defective parts or workmanship for 5 years or 50,000 miles, and we have been doing so since 1985! Why go anywhere else?
Generally transmission repair is less than a new transmission and has a longer warranty. We give only written estimates because phone quoted prices are never accurate. Our computer database, up-to-date diagnostic testing and data acquisition analysis can save you money. Remember, fixing a problem without fixing the cause is never a bargain at any price.
