What Will You Do? First & foremost we verify the concern. If we can’t duplicate your concern, diagnosis is usually inconclusive. Once we verify the concern, we check the fluid level and condition. You’d be surprised how many alleged transmission problems are really due to computer system malfunctions, low fluid level, or a restricted transmission filter. We then road test the vehicle with our computer scanner, and see if any system malfunctions have been noticed by the vehicle’s computer and stored in memory. If indicated, we check the transmission’s oil pressure. We also perform all external checks and adjustments including a leak inspection.

What’s Next? At this point, we will make a service recommendation via a written estimate and a time frame to complete the repairs so you can make plans.
